Integrated urbanization project in the Cabo Delgado region, Mozambique. The intervention includes residential, commercial and service infrastructures for over 10,000 residential units, with particular attention to environmental sustainability and integration with the local social fabric. The masterplan includes: - Housing for 50,000 inhabitants - Commercial and business center - Health and educational facilities - Water and waste treatment plants - Road network and public transport
The Challenge
The Cabo Delgado region faces significant challenges related to the lack of modern housing infrastructure, the absence of essential services and the need to create economic opportunities for the local population, in a context of rapid demographic growth.
The Solution
Development of an integrated urban plan combining quality residential construction with public infrastructure, green areas and commercial zones. The approach involves local communities in planning and uses sustainable construction techniques and local materials.
The Results
Creation of a new sustainable urban hub that will offer modern housing, essential services and job opportunities for over 50,000 people, contributing to the economic and social development of the Cabo Delgado region.
