Born in 1964 in Tardiano, a hamlet of Montesano sulla Marcellana (SA), Eng. Cestari graduated in Civil Engineering in 1997, followed by a second degree in Economics and Communication Technologies.

Since 2002 he holds the position of Honorary Consul of the Democratic Republic of Congo and was General Commissioner of Burundi for Expo 2015.

"His contribution was decisive for Milan's victory as the venue for Expo 2015, when he visited 7 African countries in a few days to gather the necessary support."
