The Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) is the fourth largest oil producer in sub-Saharan Africa, with ENI as the main strategic partner. The economy depends heavily on oil but the country is diversifying towards agriculture, forestry and potash. The Pointe-Noire special economic zone offers incentives for investors. ItalAfrica has an operational office in Brazzaville to support Italian companies interested in the Congolese and Central African market.
